THE ROLE: Build long term trusted relationships with clientsBe on the lookout for new business opportunitiesDetail products and promotions to customers, including technical detailingContribute to ideas on promotions for customers and other marketing activitiesFollow up with customer enquiries, complaints and other requirementsMonitor the market, stay up to date with industry and market trendsAttend training on products, and self-directed learning as needed as well as conferences and events as requiredTravel up to head office in Auckland every 2-3 months for sales meetingOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: Has proven, recent experience in a similar roleIs confident, motivated and able to self-manageHas sound relationship-building and time management abilitiesIs able to work autonomously, but also within the sales teamIs resourceful, adaptable and can think outside the boxExperience working with a technical product line would be advantageous, but not essentialWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
