We're looking for a dynamic and motivated Part-Time Sales Representative to take the lead in nurturing and expanding product offerings within our established Otago based company. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in bringing an innovative product to market while enjoying flexibility and autonomy. It has the potential to become a full-time position.
Candidates based in the Canterbury or Otago regions would be preferred; however, as this is a remote role, any location will be considered for the right person.
Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, specifically architects, construction companies, and interior fit-out companies.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the building industry.
Plan and execute product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients and industry stakeholders.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to guide marketing strategies.
Achieve sales targets by creating and executing a strategic sales plan.
What We're Looking For: Good understanding of the building industry, including market trends and key players.
A confident and professional communicator with experience engaging with architects, builders, and other industry professionals.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Well-presented and personable, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Comfortable delivering presentations and representing the company at events and trade shows.
Flexibility to travel as required (within an agreed-upon scope).
