As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing and motivating a dynamic sales team, maintaining an inviting sales floor that enhances the overall customer shopping experience, and ensuring outstanding customer service. Key duties include achieving sales targets, implementing effective sales strategies, training and developing sales staff, and maintaining a strong sales-focused culture. The role requires a keen understanding of our product line and an ability to maintain high standards for customer interaction. Previous furniture experience is advantageous but not essential, however a willingness to embrace the Target Furniture way is.Just so you know, this is a full-time role, and the successful candidate will be rostered to work 40 hours per week, rostered over 5 days including Saturday or Sunday. To be successful in this role, you must have 2 years supervisory and sales experience. In addition, you will: Be known for your sound honesty, integrity and open communicationBe results driven and passionate about making a difference with your customersBe known for your outstanding customer focus, relationship building skills and ability to deliver resultsHave a strong work ethic, committed to adding value to your role and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job doneSolutions focussed Have previous experience and knowledge of retail management software, along with Microsoft OfficeAt Target Furniture, we are a vibrant and diverse team culture.
