We have an exciting opportunity for a successful IT sales professional to step into sales leadership.This role is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals aligned to our Broadcom vendors, tasked to achieve growth and delivery of the overall number while driving team performance against targets and goals for these strategic Vendors.To be successful in the role you will have proven experience within the New Zealand technology market, a strong understanding of related technologies such as licensing and excellent leadership qualities.Key Responsibilities:Leading a team of sales professionals to develop pipeline and manage forecast reporting out of CRMCombine leadership with outbound activity that maintains a high call cycle across partners, developing and maintaining high quality relationships with key business influencersManage team performance, including end to end sales cycle from inception to closure of opportunitiesProvide coaching to the team relating to commercial acumen, sales excellence and career developmentBe the escalation point for aligned vendors, leading complex deals or challenges through to resolutionOwn, maintain and grow strong business relationships between Westcon-Comstor, Vendor and PartnersUnderstand and build new markets for assigned Vendor portfolioDevelop and execute Strategic Business plans, in consultation with key stakeholders from Westcon-Comstor and our VendorsKey skills, experience and attributes we're looking for:7 -10+ years in senior technology-based sales - preferably SoftwareExperience leading a sales teamProven strategic and tactical sales experience - we're looking for someone who knows how to get things done and is happy to work alongside their teamExcellent presentation and interpersonal skillsSound knowledge of business concepts and financial analysisNegotiation and persuasion are your strong suitsExceptional financial acumen, in depth understanding of pricing, gross profit, and margin calculationsEmbrace data-driven decision-making and analytics tools with enthusiasmWe are a dynamic and professional team who value our staff and invest in their growth.
