ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is in the competitive industry of freight forwarding with offices around the globe. They are very flexible within the supply chain management solution and work hard to find the best outcome for you in delivery and price.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a business development role where you will be chasing new business around the South Island. The role is open to candidates who have been in a sales role for a few years and really wanting to change industry into the fast-paced and exciting freight forwarding and logistics sector.
ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, you will also have the below attributes:
Finding, developing and managing new customer opportunities
Maintaining and developing existing customers for additional growth
Working collaboratively with the broader sales team
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Thinks outside the box and will use your initiative
Attention to detail
A team player with the ability to work well under pressure
Pro-active and resourceful with excellent time management
B2B solution selling experience
Strong communication; verbal and written
Excellent negotiation and numerical skills
Professional attitude and presentation as well as highly motivated
Be able to seal the deal
