This is a rewarding opportunity for someone to work with an Auckland based team covering the North Island and in partnership with the Christchurch team who work with South Island customers. The successful candidate will possess industry and technical knowledge coupled with a pro-active nature and enjoy working in a team environment.About The Role Provide solutions and consulting knowledge applicable to the market while being responsible for the development and implementation of sales plans that will lead to successful achieving target attainment.Implement strategies to identify, qualify and close key opportunities across all potential markets.Promotion of Yokogawa solutions to defined sales area (field instruments, process analysers, Automation solutions, Asset Health Monitoring etc).Working in conjunction with the Automation & Digital Solutions Specialist, form leads and progress opportunities in the Control Systems & Digital field.Development and implementation of call plans and budgets within defined geographical sales territory.Utilise and maintain Yokogawa's CRM database, maintaining pipeline of opportunities for project awareness and reporting purpose.Key Requirements: Degree (or trade qualification) in either Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Chemical engineering.History of being influential in decision making.Ideally 3 or more years of experience in the application and/or sales of Industrial Instrumentation or Automation solutions.Ability to develop, pursue and close opportunities to meet sales targets.Solid account management, organizational and planning skills.Yokogawa is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
