Eden, Auckland, New Zealand. This is a permanent role that reports to the National Sales Manager.The main goal of the role is to achieve sales growth by developing a customer prospect pipeline focusing on winning new construction project contracts.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate New Equipment sales leads from construction lead indicators, industry reports, tenders, personal sales research, and customer networks.Determine client requirements and design parameters quickly to configure Otis products/solutions and assist in the development of future construction projects, maximizing Otis' opportunity to secure new business.Develop and implement a strategy to maximize Otis' opportunity to accept proposals.Conduct negotiations with clients, gaining progressive support from local management and Support Departments depending on the project size.Interact with senior management within OTIS to develop sales strategies and value propositions and manage sales through OTIS sales processes.Maintain a sound knowledge of Otis' and its competitors' product range, the building and construction industry, relevant Codes and contract practices, and statutory authorities to competently deal with building owners, agents, architects, builders, consultants, developers, and statutory authorities.What You Will Need To Be SuccessfulHave a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or its equivalent.Experience working within a large, matrixed company environment and proven sales track record for developing and selling large deals.5+ years of Sales experience within the Lift industry will be preferred.Good knowledge of using mobile applications and computer-based reporting systems (MS Applications, EXCEL, WORD, Internet, database management), to analyze data and trends.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Have good time management skills and strong organization abilities.Excellent attention to detail and is results-driven.What We OfferCompetitive base salaryCar allowance and Sales incentiveAccess to funded study schemes such as our industry-leading Employee Scholarship Program and Educational Assistance SchemeA culture that encourages innovative ideas and appreciates our talent is the key to our success.Apply today to join us and build what's next!Otis is the world's leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
