This established production facility based in Wanganui has a dominant footprint within New Zealand and successfully extended into Australia and worldwide.
Their products are innovative, safe, robust and of the highest quality and they continually look to do things better.What will you be doing?Reporting to the Sales Team Leader, you are ultimately responsible for the successful execution of your sales plan and attainment of your individual sales budget in your market.
You will be growing sales in Central North Island, through in-market and remote sales activity.This is more than a job; it's understanding their mission and living it.
Their customers want to make a difference to their communities…you'll help us, help them, do this.Core focus and responsibilities will include:Execute agreed sales plans using a customer-first, insights-led, consultative selling methodology.Manage customer relations for success through regular and scheduled trips, communicating with clients to get a clear understanding of their needs and providing a solution specific to them.Market analysis and analysis of "potential vs achieved".Drive business growth through effective lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention initiatives.What will you bring?This is not a graduate or 'new to the industry role'; it will suit someone who has at least a few years of sales experience and is looking for an opportunity to develop their skills and build a career with us.
Your skills toolbox will have:Bachelor's degree in business and 2+ years experience in B2B category or related fields.Preference will be given to experience gained in a consultative selling environment.Experience in B2B sales highly desirable; exposure to specifiers, councils, developers, or landscape architects will also be looked at strongly.An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while effectively managing multiple tasks.If you are a results-driven sales professional with a passion for outdoor or urban industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role.
