Sales Assistant

We are a well-established and respected liquor retailing chain, specializing in customer service, hand selling product, and event planning. We currently have 3 positions available as we move into the holiday period:1 Permanent full-time position as a retail assistant with a 30hr/week minimum, requires a Duty Manager's License.1 Permanent part-time position as a retail assistant with a 12hr/week minimum, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time position for the right candidate.1 Casual position during December 2024; shifts to be agreed upon during the interview.The Roles and Responsibilities for each position are the same:Customer service and salesFill and restock shelvesMaintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the storeBuild and maintain product displaysComply with legislative requirements including, but not limited to: Health and safety, sale and supply of alcohol act, internal risk managementComplete training requirementsComply with reasonable instructions from Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Store Manager, and/or Store OwnerThe business has a good track record of staff retention, with staff tending to stay with the business for 2+ years.All positions will be interviewed for. Basic math skills and a strong competency with the English language are required for all positions and will be assessed during the interview. Applicants with prior retail or liquor industry experience are preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant.
