The role: This role is diverse, ranging from working at Surtees HQ Office - putting together marketing strategies and collateral, to on the water customer demos, photo shoots & boat detail videos as well as coordinating boat show stands and fishing competitions and quoting for customers right through to handing over new boats direct to smiling owners. This is an opportunity to combine your education and experience in sales and marketing with your passion - working with customers to assist them in their boat owning dream. Key Responsibilities - Sales: Quoting of new boats and assisting customers with their order and optionsSea trials and demonstrating the range direct to customersHandover of new boats to excited new ownersSupport & attend major boat showsAfter sales support with follow up and answering queriesRepresenting the brand at events Key Responsibilities – Marketing: Actively contribute to development of the annual marketing strategy and lead implementationDevelop and deliver digital, print and social media marketing plansManage marketing collateral from conception to deliveryManage and assist with delivery of key eventsLiaise with marketing and design agencies when required Skills and Experience: At least 3 years' experience in a similar roleProven experience with social media and digital marketingProficient in Microsoft Office Suite – including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, InDesign and Word PressPositive, problem solving 'can do' attitudeExhibit good interpersonal skills and enjoy dealing with internal services and external customersMarine experience is vital as are competent boat handling skills Knowledge of boats and outboard motors This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading boat manufacturer, don't miss your chance to join a great team.
