Auckland Airport – Auckland airport, North IslandWhat you will be doingAs a Safety, Risk and Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring all safety, risk and compliance activities meet CAR 139, Work Safe NZ legislation, Place of First Arrival (POFA) and BWOF requirements and obligations on behalf of Auckland Airport. This role will expose you to a wide range of safety and compliance risk management initiatives, including fire safety, security, biosecurity and other regulatory compliance.The highly engaged and passionate Risk, Compliance and Assurance Team here at Auckland Airport is looking for a Safety, Risk and Compliance Coordinator with generalist experience, who can collaborate and communicate effectively across functional lines with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and to contribute to the Airport's safety and compliance initiatives.Your key responsibilities are:Ensure all incidents and near misses are investigated, corrected and closed out appropriately on risk managerManage the trial fire evacuation programme, including designing the trial schedule, coordinating the trials, identifying and managing any corrective actions arising out of the trialsCoordinate and conduct regulatory audit activities, checks and education/awareness with regards to safety, risk and complianceParticipate in Auckland Airport Compliance Assurance Programmes, e.g. producing compliance activities and trends reportingContribute to the reviewing and auditing of relevant manuals including for example Airport Workers Rules, Biosecurity ManualsContribute to the wider business risk, knowledge management and assurance projects as requiredWhat you'll bring to the roleExperience in a safety, compliance, or regulatory role within an airport or similar high-regulatory environment is highly desirableGeneralist-level knowledge of how a framework works or experience working with multiple workstreamsA willingness and aptitude to learn what you don't already knowClear and concise communication skills with the ability to adapt to a variety of internal and external stakeholdersExcellent relationship-building skills with stakeholders from all walks of lifeStrong planning and organisational skills, including the ability to juggle conflicting priorities and deliver high quality outcomes in a busy, constantly changing environmentSound business writing and verbal communication skills including well-developed presentation skills, with a bias to transparency and collaborationSound knowledge of software suites and systemsAbility or interest to invest in data analyticsStrong analytical skills to assess compliance issues and identify effective solutionsAbout usAuckland Airport is more than just a business.
