HEAD COACH – Thames Valley Swamp Foxes Heartland TeamTo: Chief Executive Officer, Thames Valley Rugby Union (TVFU)The Thames Valley Rugby Union (TVRU) seeks an experienced and committed Head Coach to lead the Thames Valley Swamp Foxes Heartland Team. This role requires a proactive leader to foster a positive team culture, engage players, and build a successful season. Reporting to the TVRU Chief Executive Officer, you will collaborate with assistant coaches, support staff, and players to drive team success.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a Positive Team Culture: Establish an inclusive environment that values respect, teamwork, and hard work.Player Development: Engage in candid conversations to support players' growth pre, during, and post the club season.Training and Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive training plans, encompassing game strategies, skill development, conditioning, nutrition, and mental skills training. Provide consistent communication to players, coaching staff, and support staff to align with the team's mission and goals.Promote Thames Valley Rugby: Create an affinity to the region and our people.Leverage Technology: Use video analysis and other tools to enhance coaching and player performance.Qualifications and SkillsCoaching Qualification: Level 3 or above.Experience: A strong senior rugby coaching background with a personal passion for continuing to develop.Leadership: Strong communication skills, capable of inspiring players and collaborating with staff.This role is a unique opportunity for a passionate rugby leader committed to continuing Thames Valley Rugby's success and empowering the next generation of players.
