Mo Tenei Turanga Mahi | About the RoleThis position will be responsible for developing training and skills programmes that help workers maximize their experience in the RSE scheme, while also providing them with transferable skills they can apply when returning to their home countries.
This will support their successful reintegration and contribute to sustainable growth and innovation within their communities.
The RSE Operations Manager will work in partnership with key stakeholders that include MFAT, MBIE, HortNZ employers, Pacific Community Groups (national), Stakeholder Liaison Group (SLG) and other relevant external industry stakeholders to actively contribute to the success of the programme.The appointing salary for this role will be between $100,000 and $120,000, dependent on skills and experience.The RSE Operations Manager is based in our Business Relationship Unit | Te Pukenga reporting to the Director - Business relationships and Transitions and will be responsible for: Lead the RSE Worker Training Programme: Develop and implement training and skills programmes to maximize workers' experiences and provide transferable skills for their return home.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including government agencies, employers, and community groups, to ensure the success of the programme.
Team Management: Oversee the RSE Operations team, including recruitment, training, and performance management, ensuring team KPIs are met.
Programme Evaluation and Improvement: Conduct ongoing evaluations of the programme and use feedback to enhance its delivery, ensuring it meets contractual KPIs and financial targets.
He korero mou| About youTo be successful in this role you will have: Educational Background: A relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge.
Leadership and Management Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on equity and inclusion.
Adult Learning and Curriculum Development: Strong understanding of adult learning principles, assessment methodologies, and experience in developing high-quality educational products.
Cultural Competence: Deep understanding and appreciation of Pasifika customs and protocols, with excellent communication skills in both a Pasifika language and English.
