Rotation Shift Robot Operator

Champion Flour Milling Ltd is recognised as NZ's leading flour and premix manufacturer for the retail, bakery service and industrial markets. Champion's manufacturing sites are based at Mt Maunganui and Christchurch.
Our Mount Maunganui site has a long and proud history in the Bay of Plenty area and produces a range of specialised cereal-based food products across multiple production lines.
We are currently looking for a Robot Operator to be based at our Mount Maunganui site to work in our warehouse operation on a permanent full-time basis. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with previous storeman experience; however, full training will be given with a strong emphasis on workplace Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice.
This is a rotation shift role with a rolling roster – 12 hour shifts 3 x nights on and 3 x nights off, then 3 days on and 3 days off.
The preferred candidates will have:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Counterbalance forklift experience is also highly advantageous.
Current experience operating a forklift (Crown or OSH certified also accepted).
Ability to learn and follow documented systems and processes.
Commitment to following health and safety to a high standard.
Ability to work on rotational shifts as required.
The flexibility to work overtime as required.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Enthusiasm and enjoyment of working to tight schedules within a team environment.
You will need your own transport to enter the Port of Tauranga.
