Front Office & Guest Services (Hospitality & Tourism)Waipuna Hotel has been operating for 50 years and just keeps getting better. Something we are very proud of!Bring your can-do attitude, work hard, have fun, and do something good for others.About YouMust have at least 12 months experience in Front Office as Duty Manager (or similar role) with experience using hotel booking software preferred.Is customer-focused and has high standards of service with excellent attention to detail.Must be able to work on a rotating roster that covers days, evenings/nights & weekends (minimum of 3 shifts per week).Are available to start as soon as possible.Is confident and experienced in all facets of Front Office duties.Have the ability to multi-task with a can-do attitude.Keep a cool head whilst working under pressure.Will have current LCQ, General (Duty) Manager certificate as well as First Aid Certificates.Must have the right to work in NZ.About the JobAssist the team to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the Front Desk.Assist guests with enquiries, reservations, and housekeeping requests.Settle guest accounts, ensuring cashiering is accurate.Assist with all internal and external queries.Be supportive of the Hotel and the Senior Management Team.Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.Maintain high hotel standards and ensure guest safety and comfort is paramount.Competitive pay.Great team culture.Opportunities to develop and grow.Free Staff Parking.A day off on your Birthday!Uniform and staff meals provided.Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a duty manager?Do you hold a current New Zealand General Manager's certificate?Which of the following First Aid accreditations do you currently hold?Do you have customer service experience?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How would you rate your English language skills?How many years' experience do you have as a guest services agent?Are you available to work on a rotating roster?
