Combine your administrative and organisational skills in this Retail Operations and Projects Co-Ordinator role. This is a permanent, full-time position for 40 hours per week, in our Manukau Head Office located at Supa Centre, 72 Cavendish Drive, Manukau 2104. With a start date in April 2025, this role will be working Monday – Friday.About the RoleThis role assists the National Store Manager and Retail Operations team in managing, planning, and executing the Retail Operations projects. You will manage shared support files and planners, so we are looking for a competent and reliable person to join our team.Key tasks include:Act as a support office contact for stores on Retail Operations related issues.Manage and maintain the asset register for the Computers Department.Help the support office with administrative tasks such as coordinating office events, coordinating and booking travel, and processing national expenses.Lead the planning and execution of conferences and training events, coordinating with internal and external partners.Manage the onboarding and offboarding of all Proprietors, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication with all stakeholders.Follow established procedures and processes to ensure the departments best practices are met.Work with the Retail Operations team, external suppliers and Harvey Norman departments and stores to coordinate and execute projects.Ensure workplace health and safety compliance by leading initiatives, completing training, and attending required meetings.Perform other reasonable duties as needed.Assist with coordinating Retail Operations resources for store access, including managing platforms like Connect and VIBE.Support the Retail Operations Team by maintaining up-to-date records, files, and planners.Help develop reporting, spreadsheets and other Microsoft 365 based assets to support projects.About YouWe are looking for an organised person who is able to work autonomously and in a team. The skills and experience you'll need to bring with you include:Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge with a focus on advanced excel skills.Retail industry experience.Ability to travel within New Zealand at short notice for extended periods of time supporting stores.Experience in contracting and negotiation with a proven ability to work within set budgets.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.Strong written and verbal communication.Knowledge and practical experience with project management is desirable.Experience with coding for applications in the Microsoft 365 environment including SQL databases is desirable.About UsHarvey Norman was introduced to New Zealand in 1997, since then we have become a household name, with over 45 stores nationwide plus offsite warehouses, commercial offices and the Auckland Support Office.
