Job Description Are you an experienced retail manager with a genuine passion for community and a strong drive to succeed? We are seeking a passionate and dynamic leader to build and lead the success of our soon-to-open Napier store.
This exciting Monday-to-Friday role offers plenty of variety and autonomy, giving you the opportunity to make a real, positive impact! The successful candidate is expected to start in early December 2024.
Key responsibilities include:
Drive revenue growth by setting and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Actively promote and market the store within the local community.
Manage and maintain store displays, and set the pricing of stock.
Roster staff, lead and motivate volunteers and staff members.
Generate monthly reports and forecasts.
Cultivate a warm, welcoming environment that encourages exceptional customer service.
Oversee and manage shop operations and stock levels.
Qualifications Ko wai koe - About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in setting up a new store and are self-driven to achieve results, doing whatever is necessary for success.
Solid experience in retail management, visual merchandising, and an interest in second-hand goods.
A results-focused mindset, with a passion for success and achieving set targets.
Proven experience successfully managing a team of more than 10 staff.
A highly motivated, proactive "can-do" attitude that drives you to identify and act on opportunities for improvement.
Ability to recruit, lead, and motivate volunteers.
Great relationship-building skills and strong community focus.
