Retail Manager

H and R Souvenirs Ltd – Queenstown, South IslandWe are currently seeking an experienced Retail Manager to build on the success at our busy souvenir stores in Queenstown. This position will be responsible for managing multiple stores in Queenstown.The hours required are normal 40 per week and include some weekends. Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week. Pay rate between $30-$35 per hour depending on candidate.Candidates must have the following:At least 3 years relevant work experienceBe familiar with store management, directing and supervising sales/financial transactions.Can control and analyze stock level, also have good communication skills with suppliers as product's buyer.Effective planning and organizational skills.Job tasks involve:Staff Management.Hiring, training, motivating and performance review of all staff.Ordering and maintaining stock levels. Organizing products to optimize sales.Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues. Ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.Track sales performance and implement initiatives to drive revenue.Managing the shop's budget and expenses.
