Management - Store (Retail & Consumer Products) We are seeking a dynamic and professional retail manager to join our current retail team in Timaru. The position is a full-time position (32-40 hours per week).In this position, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service to the standards that our company is known for, and ensuring the store runs efficiently and effectively. You must be organized, detail-oriented, and have a refined ability to engage with customers with an empathetic and professional approach. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome customers.Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable workspace.Be attentive to customers, providing answers to any questions they may have regarding our products.Assist customers with making informed decisions regarding purchases.Re-stock and maintain product displays.Assist with inventory counts and placement of new products.Handle customer complaints and concerns calmly and professionally.Ensure customers and staff are well-informed on any current sales, rewards programs, and store return policy.Process payments via our point of sale (POS) system, cash register, and EFTPOS terminal.Ensure all team members are appropriately trained and supported in their roles.Oversee and manage the store's performance.Prepare and manage the staff roster.Manage the cash banking for the store in a timely and accurate manner.Key Skills Ability to project a constant sense of professionalism.Ability to apply an empathetic approach to customer service.
