Job Description
We are looking for a full-time community and people-centric Retail Manager with customer care at heart. As one of our founding staff members and part of our core team, there is great opportunity to learn, grow and make this exciting new role your own.
The primary responsibilities of a Retail Manager are to manage the overall day-to-day operations of the retail arm of our pharmacy.In this fast-paced, dynamic role you will be responsible for:
Managing the day-to-day retail operations of the store
Supervising and coordinating retail pharmacy staff and staffing activities
Building and maintaining customer rapport and loyalty
Improving the efficiency of store processes and procedures
Addressing customer complaints as required
Resolving staffing issues and stock discrepancies
Ensuring organisational policies and procedures are followed and enforced
Maintaining workplace Occupational Health and Safety

Proven successful retail management experience (within fast-paced & high-volume industries)
Strong stable people management experience (ideally managing 15-25 staff)
Effective and positively impactful leadership, mentorship, and management skills
Efficient problem-solving skills with a questioning and continuous improvement mindset
Proficiency in using computer systems and tech-savvy
Exceptional customer service, negotiation, and influential skills
Strong communication skills and able to relate, partner & advise at all various stakeholder levels
