Job description Position: Retail Buyer Duties and Responsibilities:Analysing trade and market information to stay on top of market trends.Monitoring sales statistics and stock levels.Negotiating purchase, promotion, and supply agreements with suppliers.Establishing and carrying out pricing.Performing consumer research to determine product demand.Examining promotion details and resolving any pricing discrepancies if needed.Providing all the needed information on products, their prices, and promotions.Handling all customer inquiries and requests.Preparing and presenting sales projections.Providing samples for customers.Monitoring product sales.Introducing and developing marketing and display strategies.Conducting all promotional activities to stay in trend.Making suggestions for new product offerings based on consumer research.Coordinating with management for long-term planning and sales incentives.Planning store and wholesale finances to maintain business profitability.Creating work schedules for the staff.Bringing new ideas to the business where we can add value.Conducting daily quality checks of products before selling them to customers.
