Habitat's ReStore op shops play a vital role in our operations, helping raise funds to support our programmes.Our flagship Hamilton store in Te Rapa is looking for friendly volunteers to help on our shop floor and counter. Duties include interacting with customers, operating the till, merchandising, and keeping our store looking great!A fantastic opportunity to meet new people and have fun while supporting a great cause. One of our volunteers recently described our store as "the best op shop in town". Come join our fun-loving team and see for yourself!Requirements:You will need a friendly manner, with a genuine customer service focus. We're looking for people with good communication skills and a willingness to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.Good numeracy and concentration are important as, once trained, you will be using the point of sale till, including EFTPOS and handling cash transactions.Time commitment:Half day or full day shifts available.
