The Role
As a Part-Time Retail Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, increasing sales, and helping us meet our targets. If you're enthusiastic, a natural communicator, and love the idea of contributing to a growing business, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships with our customers.
Respond to customer queries, complaints, and feedback in a positive and proactive manner.
Merchandise, restock shelves, and ensure products are visually appealing to customers.
Handle store operations such as operating tills, accepting payments, and ensuring correct pricing.
Assist with online store orders, picking and dispatching when required.
Participate in stock takes, and help ensure all end-of-day processes are completed accurately.
Assist with promotions and creating product displays in line with the RVSC marketing calendar.
Help train and upskill new and existing staff in product knowledge, systems, and thl policies.
Support operational management, identifying improvements and contributing to continuous retail process enhancements.
What We're Looking For:
Proven retail sales experience and the ability to meet targets.
Experience in RV, camping, marine, or vehicle sales is an advantage but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good numeracy skills and understanding of sales calculations.
A positive, energetic team player with a great sense of humour.
Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility for your tasks.
Competent in using computers, with Excel/Word knowledge being advantageous.
Flexible and adaptable to changes in the work environment.
Hours:
Minimum of 16 hours per week, with the possibility to flex up to 40 hours until the end of March.
Shifts will include Fridays and Saturdays, with potential future flexibility in hours.
