We are currently looking for Restaurant Manager to join our busy Store located in Waiuku, Auckland. As a manager you will be fully responsible to control and manage the overall operations of the Restaurant to ensure they achieve sales targets, operational efficiency, and profitability targets. Supervising and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions (i.e. hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, staffing and scheduling). You will also responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, product quality, and the execution of Company standards and policies, including operational, Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures, in the Store. You will have a positive and right attitude, leadership qualities and be really helpful. You must be mature and responsible when it comes to dealing with tough situations.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
Ensures the Restaurant meets all Pizza Hut standards, including Operations, Food Safety and Health and Safety.
Accountable for all financial targets allocated by Restaurant as per the Annual Operating Plan and/or Quarterly forecasts.
Manage COGs %, Food Waste, Labour, Cash Variance and all other semi variables, ensuring targets are achieved.
Actively manages the team by regularly conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals to improve team member's performance.
Managing the team members for the smooth functioning of sales, recruiting new staff (when required), training new staff.
Scheduling tasks, resolving problems and following up work results;
Resolving customer complaints, Building up clients relations, ensuring high level customer services, promoting safe and positive public image of the organisation;
Efficiently roster staff to meet productivity targets and minimise labour dollar per hour targets.
Monitor and record stock levels into the Automated Restaurant Management System (ARMS) on daily basis;
Direct staff to adhere to cash handling procedures ensuring that training is completed and the Fraud & Theft policy is regularly reviewed and signed by all employees.
Order all stock using ARMS and in accordance with guidelines pertaining to the allocated shift.
Ensure workplace incidents and accidents within Stores are correctly reported, adequately managed, with retrospective injury prevention training implemented to reduce further risk of injury or incident.
To ensure the store's sanitation and cleanliness at or above the standard
Conduct regular meetings with the management
To be successful in your application, you must be able to demonstrate:
One year of managerial work experience at the similar business environment
You must be, someone who is committed, reliable and able to work on a roster that would require you to work varied days and times which includes late evenings, weekends & Public holidays;
Strong communication skills, a passion for delivering world class customer service;
Enjoy coming to work and willing to be part of a team;
Must pass the drug test and police check
