Summary: Habitat For Humanity ReStore, Bryant Road, Hamilton 20 hours a week, includes Saturdays We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented ReStore Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment, donations service to customers at our ReStore.?This is a busy and high-performing store, and we're looking for someone with amazing customer service skills to greet customers, provide assistance in any area that needs cover that may include the pick up and delivery of donations.?This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities: Greet customers and assist them with their purchases Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized store environment Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels Assist with visual merchandising and store displays Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner Meet and exceed sales targets and goals Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives Donations and deliveries – assist with coordinating donation pickups and deliveries, assist with sorting and pricing donations. Driving the van for collection of donations and deliveries Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous retail sales experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Basic computer skills Full New Zealand Drivers License Hands-on physical work experience and appropriate ability and fitness. High level of compassion and ability to work with people from all backgrounds.
