Restaurant Manager Needed For Chinese Restaurant

YW Gourmet Food Ltd T/A Yue's Dumpling Kitchen provides top-class dumpling and other Chinese dishes in North Shore Auckland. We now need one restaurant manager to help us provide top-quality food. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week.
The job involves the following tasks and duties:

Coordinating the overall operation of the restaurant
Ensuring the delivery of superior customer services
Taking reservations and orders, and arranging functions when needed
Receiving customer feedback and making necessary improvements to the operation of the restaurant
Having a good understanding in handling problems to ensure smooth operation between the kitchen and restaurant
Promoting our restaurant in the Asian & Chinese market
Planning menus and pricing
Participating in the selection and training of new staff
Organizing staff rotation and supervising staff performance
Estimating consumption, controlling costs, and advising on making budgets
Managing stock levels and arranging supplies
Maintaining records of transactions
Maintaining a positive working environment
Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health and safety legislation/guidelines

To qualify for the job, you should have at least 3 years of work experience in management roles. You should have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours. You should also have good interpersonal skills in order to coordinate duties in the kitchen.
