The opportunity Responsibilities We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to oversee two dining outlets within a hotel environment.
You will be responsible for leading the food and beverage operations to ensure a memorable guest experience in their home away from home.
You will manage, train and develop new and existing team members while working within budgeted guidelines.
Some key responsibilities will include: Ensure our guest's expectations are surpassed on every occasion.
Manage the sale and supply of alcohol to all patrons at all times.
Responsible for the rostering including forecasting, payroll control and analysis of results.
Comply with the Health & Safety policy statement, H&S policies and procedures and the relevant H&S Business Plan.
Be present during key busy periods.
Attend weekly and monthly food and beverage meetings.
Provide feedback on team members' performance, development opportunities and operational matters.
Effectively control the flow of guests and the interaction between the front and heart-of-house throughout service.
Drive sales to maximise budgeted revenue.
Who We Are Looking For To be considered for this role you will need to have a solid background in food and beverage, preferably in a hotel environment where you're used to high volume service.
Ideally, you'll have restaurant management experience but we're also keen to hear from you if you have supervisory experience, this could be the step up you've been waiting for!
You'll also need to have the following: A valid LCQ and Managers Certificate.
Unrestricted working rights in NZ - no sponsorship.
No accommodation supplied (except for the first couple of weeks potentially) so you'll need somewhere to live if relocating.
A good understanding of budgets and financial targets.
Impeccable personal presentation.
