The Fancy Cow is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join the team.
This is a hands-on role that involves overseeing day-to-day operations, training and upskilling staff members, maintaining high food and beverage standards, and most importantly ensuring our guests have a lovely experience.
The Fancy Cow consists of a restaurant, cellar door, and taproom.
Part-time or full-time hours available.
Must be available for evenings and weekends.
Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role preferred.
Minimum 30 hours per week over a flexible 7-day roster between the operational hours of 10am - 10pm.
About the role: Oversee restaurant operations and ensure a smooth flow.
Maintain a positive restaurant culture.
Supervise front of house staff and continually improve on service.
Train new employees to help them reach restaurant standards.
Interact with diners and ensure every diner has a positive experience.
Organise and take stock of restaurant supplies.
Report daily to venue manager.
About you: Proven work experience in a restaurant setting.
Genuine passion for hospitality.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
Competent coffee making and bartending skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organised.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of current food and beverage trends.
Can-do attitude with ability to 'go with the flow'.
Current Duty Managers Certificate.
