Situated in the bustling heart of Christchurch's BNZ Centre, our mission is to introduce the distinctive flavours and culinary traditions of Vietnam to the vibrant tapestry of this city. We are currently looking for a restaurant manager to join our team.
Requirements
The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:
At least 1 year of experience working at a management level in any field, OR
A bachelor's degree in a related field such as business administration, AND
Knowledge of Vietnamese food ingredients, as we take allergies seriously.
Job Description
Collaborate with chefs to design and plan menus.
Organize and coordinate special events and functions.
Develop and implement a marketing plan to ensure the restaurant meets its targets.
Manage the procurement and pricing of goods while adhering to budget constraints.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and financial transactions.
Ensure dining facilities meet health regulations and maintain a clean, functional, and appealing environment.
Engage with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.
Select, train, and supervise both waiting and kitchen staff.
Handle reservations, greet guests, and assist with order taking as needed.
Other Details
This is a full-time, permanent position.
The hourly wage is $31.61, paid weekly.
Holiday pay and sick leave will be provided in accordance with the law.
You will be working at 109 Cashel Street, Christchurch Central, Christchurch, Canterbury.
We are open Monday to Sunday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
You will work according to a roster, 5–6 days a week, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours (maximum of 40 hours).
