Job DescriptionTHE ROLE Oversee daily operations at Harbour Society to ensure exceptional guest experiences.Participate in creative processes for all things Food & Beverage: Arrange menu items and pricing alongside the Executive Chef, along with other activations and promotions.Lead and mentor the Harbour Society team to foster a culture of respect and collaboration, ensuring WHS/health regulations are adhered to.Review, implement, and maintain operational standards for efficient and high-quality service.Handle guest queries, including bookings and special requests.Manage stock takes with accuracy and efficiency, order supplies and products to suit business demand.Assist in financial performance targets.Supervise team management aspects, including payroll, rosters, briefings, onboarding, recruitment, and performance reviews.Ensure proper use of Micros during shifts (including staff training) and advise on updates to align with guest offerings.Coordinate daily with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.QualificationsTHE PERSON Proven experience in a 5-star hotel or established restaurant environment, with at least two years in a leadership role.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Knowledgeable of current F&B trends, industry best practices, and the local culinary scene with an appreciation for the luxury-lifestyle space.Holds an LCQ, current Manager's Certificate, and First Aid/Food Safety/Health & Safety certifications.Strong understanding of Micros, Opera, ResDiary, and Microsoft Office applications.Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to foster good relationships with guests and staff.Proven experience in managing budgeted and forecasted payroll/wage and departmental costs (P&L, budgets).Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Flexible in working with a rotating roster and various shifts as operationally required.A NZ Diploma in hospitality management, or a minimum of three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, specialising in hotel/restaurant management.Additional InformationSO/ BENEFITS An opportunity to make an impact and bring the SO/ Brand to life in New Zealand.Work in a creative and rewarding environment that challenges the norm.Be part of a passionate team dedicated to creating outstanding hospitality experiences.Enjoy international accommodation and retail discounts across Ennismore & Accor Hotels properties, with access to Family & Friends discounts at selected hotels.Opportunities for career development and progression worldwide within Ennismore/Accor.Annual Salary of $69,680, in a Full Time permanent role – 40 hours guaranteed per week.Our Commitment To Diversity & Inclusion
