Lok Green is a renowned Korean restaurant located in Birkenhead, Auckland, offering exceptional Korean cuisine and a delightful dining experience. Our menu features a wide range of traditional Korean BBQ dishes, seafood specialties, and a carefully curated selection of Japanese liquors, including sake, shochu, and umeshu.Key Responsibilities:Restaurant Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.Staff Supervision and Training: Lead, train, and manage restaurant staff, ensuring a productive and positive work environment. Schedule shifts and oversee staff performance.Customer Service: Ensure an exceptional customer experience by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining relationships with regular patrons.Liquor Management: Manage the restaurant's liquor inventory, including sourcing specialized Japanese liquors, and ensure compliance with New Zealand's liquor laws.Financial Management: Monitor restaurant expenses, prepare budgets, and analyze financial performance to ensure profitability.Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as liquor licensing requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment.Event Coordination: Plan and manage special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain loyal patrons.Qualifications:Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, with proven experience in staff management.Liquor License Requirement: Must hold a valid New Zealand Manager's Certificate (Liquor) or be eligible to obtain one. Knowledge of New Zealand liquor laws and licensing requirements is essential.Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of restaurant management, customer service, and inventory control. Experience managing liquor inventory, particularly Japanese liquors, is an advantage.Leadership: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
