Restaurant Manager

The suitable candidate will undertake the following tasks:

·      Managing the entire operations of the restaurant.
·      Responsible for financial performance and the growth of the restaurant.
·      Familiarity with accounting software.
·      Developing a strong understanding of what drives and motivates your staff to increase performance & service standards.
·      Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget.
·      Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
·      Maintaining a high level of H&S, Food Control Plan and Compliance.
·      Plan menus in consultation with chefs.
·      Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
·      Plan roster for the staff.
·      Driving Promotions & Marketing and Customer Engagement.

Requirements
·      Suitable applicant must have 3 years of work experience in hospitality or a Diploma in Business or Business Management or higher.
·      Applicants with direct work experience in restaurant or food industry preferable.
·      Manager certificate and LCQ (liquor license) desirable.
·      Must be flexible for shift work roster and must be able to work late nights, weekends and public holidays.
·      Excellent organizational and leadership skill.
·      Due to the nature of our restaurant, having Spanish language awareness/fluency and/or knowledge of Spanish culture and cuisine would be a plus.
