Restaurant Manager

The role will include, but not limited to:

 Manage day to day operations, ensure good financial outcome and excellent customer service.
 Plan, organise and direct staff and resources for the efficient, well-prepared, and profitable service of food and beverages.
 Discuss with chef to update dishes that are popular among customers and remove the unpopular ones.
 Organise special events such as parties, celebrations, etc.
 Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimise waste, perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service.
 Be responsible for monitoring and control of stocks and wastage, undertaking stock purchase at regular intervals.
 Plan marketing activities, promote the company to potential customers.
 Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
 Work quickly to resolve operational issues, ensuring proper follow-ups and excellence in creating a memorable experience for customers.
 Recruit, train and coach staff on food preparation, hygiene standard and guest service principles and practices.
 Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas, comply with all health and safety regulations.
 Record, review and monitor all business transactions to ensure the operation conforms to financial expectations.
 Other duties may be reasonably required.

Job pre-requisites:

 A bachelor's degree and at least 2 years' work experience holding a managerial role are required.
 Excellent communication skills
 Attention to details and a hard-working attitude
 Excellent work ethic and great time management
 Passion for the industry

Hourly Rate Range: $29.66-$32.00Location: Orewa, AucklandWorking hours:30-40 hours per week
