Restaurant / Cafe Manager

Our Client in Auckland is looking for an experienced Restaurant / Cafe Worker.
Minimum 30 hours guaranteed.
We are looking for a Cafe Manager to run our small front of house team and work with our kitchen team to give our guests a great experience.
Duties & Responsibilities

Customer service
Operating POS system, updating when needed
Serving food and clearing tables
Supervising staff, delegating jobs
Communicating with the kitchen team
Stock ordering, and assisting with product development
Help with staff recruitment, and supervise/manage on-the-job training
Work on your own and as part of a team


Experience and Attributes

A minimum of 3 years of experience as Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager in a similar environment
Great communication and customer service skills, including being able to interact with visitors from around the world
A positive, punctual and professional approach
Common sense with a fast-paced nature
Excellent attention to detail
A positive 'can do' attitude with an enthusiastic personality
Work well under pressure
The ability to delegate tasks and manage staff on a daily basis to get the best performance from the team
Self-belief, strength, humility, and ambition
