About the role: Centered in the vibrant city of Christchurch, the luxury Fable Christchurch is looking for an experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to be a key leader of our F&B operations!
As a Restaurant and Bar Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the guest service experiences in our F&B venue.
Your leadership and uncompromising commitment to standards will drive the team to deliver exceptional services and create memorable Fable experiences for our guests.
This role will enable you to elevate your Food & Beverage career within a 5-star hotel environment.
Responsibilities include: Working closely with the Kitchen team to ensure cohesion of service Assisting with transforming the hotel's restaurant and bar into a culinary destination Preparing and planning for functions and shifts Roster planning and cost control Be responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, and training of F&B staff Handling guest complaints efficiently & effectively Accurate billing and cash-up procedures Ensuring the health and safety of guests and team Working with the team to improve standards and procedures Developing and implementing formal training plans for all Restaurant and Bar-related activities Supervising and coordinating pricing and preparation of beverage menu, wine lists, and food menus with the Head Chef Role requirements: Minimum 2-3 years' experience and success in an F&B supervisory position, preferably in a hotel environment Excellent command of both verbal and written English Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and inventory control Experience in financial management, including budgeting and cost control Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage and motivate the team Punctual, organised, and trustworthy Sound knowledge of POS systems Flexibility to work rostered shifts full-time including weekends, public holidays, early shifts, and night shifts Current eligibility to work in NZ What we offer at CPG Hotels: Paid Birthday Off Endless career and growth opportunities Fantastic rewards and recognition initiatives Free access to hundreds of online Hospitality courses A variety of amazing corporate discounts Sound like a good fit?
