Recently we have received 4 star Qualmark accreditation.About the role:We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Restaurant and Bar Manager looking for their next career step. You are dedicated to delivering a unique experience within our Garden View Restaurant and Conference areas. Your focus will be on the visions and values of the business and take responsibility for managing the Restaurant while working with the wider management team and supporting the Conference operations.You will bring previous customer and restaurant experience, along with the ability to inspire, encourage, support, and manage your team. You will be tasked with maintaining and enhancing the skill set of our staff while ensuring quality customer service is always provided and we exceed expectations through the timely, efficient, friendly delivery of service.To succeed in this role, we're looking for someone with:3 years of previous experience in a senior restaurant operations roleA genuine passion for creating, promoting, and following up events, themed offerings, and promotions.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to maximize opportunities to increase guest satisfaction and experience.Experience in coordinating a team to ensure they perform at their best.Experience and proactiveness when recruiting for your team.Superior customer service skills, able to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.Ability to work with the kitchen brigade to ensure a seamless operation.Excellent communication skills (oral and written).Strong wine knowledge.Understanding of menu preparation with the ability to give input or suggestions.Ability to work breakfast, lunch, or dinner shifts including weekends.A current General Manager's Certificate and Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) or the ability to obtain one.Promoting Workplace Health and Safety and building a strong safety culture.Demonstrated ability to lead an energized team.Social media exposure knowledge is an advantage as we look to grow quickly in this area.Strong knowledge and understanding of wage costs, beverage costs, stock control, FIFO, budget expectations, and ordering patterns.What's on offer:We offer the opportunity to grow your skills and develop your career and make a real difference in a supportive, fun, and professional working environment.
