Residential Support Leader

Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development)We are looking for a qualified person to support people with disabilities. (Leading a team that works a 4 day on 4 day off roster including weekends)Marralomeda is a Christian community for adults with learning disabilities that recognises the unique gifts and contributions everyone has to offer. Our community is based in Redwood and currently consists of five homes supporting 22 people and an Activity Centre.This role requires:Experience in supporting a person with a disability in a way that upholds their rights, ensuring the person has choice and control over their lives.A commitment to within the Marralomeda Christian philosophy.Experience coordinating teams on rostered hours, particularly in a care and support field.Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail.Strong organisational and team leadership skills.Excellent communication skills both oral and written.Ability to pivot between hands-on support of team members in the homes and effective planning.A team player who can contribute to a mutually supportive leadership team.Ability to work independently and be self-managing.At least Level 3 Qualification in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent.Basic computer skills.A current full Driver's License.First Aid Certificate.Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. #J-18808-Ljbffr
