Resident Services Representative Reference: 6633764 Nau mai haere mai ki Te Selwyn Foundation | Welcome to the Selwyn Foundation Selwyn Village, located in leafy Point Chevalier, is one of the founding retirement villages in New Zealand with a rich history. As we grow and move with the times, we maintain our core values that have been with us since opening in 1954. We are looking for a customer service superstar to join our team in Independent Living at Selwyn Village in Point Chevalier. Working days and hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm. Reporting to the Resident Relationship Manager and working closely with hospitality and home services teams, you will ensure our residents are provided with professional quality service. You will be responsible for providing a vibrant, warm, welcoming, and quality environment for our residents, their families, and visitors, which reflects the Foundation's values. Your days will be busy and varied. You will become a core and integral member of our team. Just a few of your daily duties will include: Providing resident induction programs Undertaking welfare visits Welcoming back returning residents Assisting with delivery of optional services (e.g., room service/meal delivery, wellness checks, medication supervision) Assisting with transportation on site General administration If you have a passion for customer service, display strong interpersonal skills, and have proven experience working in healthcare, administration, retail, or hospitality, then this role could be perfect for you. Other key requirements include: Understanding the needs of our elders and delivering service excellence A fun-loving personality with a positive attitude Great communication skills (written and verbal) An interest and enthusiasm for promoting health and safety standards is beneficial Competent in MS Office A high standard of personal presentation High energy, enthusiasm, and a team player Empathetic and caring nature Previous experience in caregiving would be advantageous Calm and unflappable manner Physically fit (role involves a lot of walking) Full driver's license (you will be driving our residents around the village in a buggy) This role is suited to a special someone who will happily help out wherever needed.
