St Allisa is based near Church Corner and is a vibrant care community, providing Rest Home, Hospital, Dementia and other types of care to our residents.
Job Description Mo te turanga | About the opportunity At Arvida, our model of care is underpinned by our resident-led approach and Attitude of Living Well. Our Registered Nurses lead clinical excellence through assessments, planning, and delivery of care according to accepted nursing practices and standards.
You will be responsible for leading, supervising, and guiding other members of the team, and ensuring medical instructions and procedures are correctly administered, documented, and monitored. Each day you will be providing a proactive and person-centric service by communicating with residents and family and participating in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Qualifications To tatou kaitono pai | Our ideal candidate must have: NZQA level 7 (e.g. bachelor's degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma) A current practicing certificate Flexibility to pick up different shifts Team leadership skills Honesty and integrity Good customer service Excellent interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills Alignment with our values and purpose Experience in Palliative Care, Dementia, Younger People with Disabilities and InterRAI is preferred but not essential Additional Information He aha ta maatau e tuku | What we can offer At Arvida, we are passionate about people - both residents and our team members. This role is fixed term cover for 12 months. It is covering a mix of annual and maternity leave and our ideal candidate could start orientating from 3 December 24. We are looking for someone who is able to cover a mix of shifts, from morning, afternoon and night.
