Market Research & Analysis (Marketing & Communications) Full time We are looking for a talented Research Manager level researcher to join our team (ideally you will have around 3 years' research experience, either agency or client side).
You would get the opportunity to work with a broad range of leading commercial and social sector organisations across a wide variety of projects including brand and market understanding and strategy, brand and communications tracking, creative and concept testing, customer experience, journey mapping, corporate reputation and much more.
We are seeking a candidate with sound quantitative and quantitative research skills.
Our team of researchers works closely and collaboratively to deliver quality research and insights solutions to our clients.
You will be expected to support our Research Directors with larger projects and client relationship and there is also opportunity to take the lead on some client relationships.
The role will involve working on all aspects of research projects and client deliverables including questionnaire design, analysis, insight generation and reporting as well as day to day client and project management.
You will work on a broad range of projects with a variety of clients.
Ipsos has a wealth of experience, research knowledge and frameworks to help you succeed.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Collaborate with Research Directors on proposal writing, including setting project budgets and timelines, and ensuring profitability.
Effectively liaise with the field team, including scheduling, briefing, and regular follow-up throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth execution.
Design complex questionnaires independently, and provide guidance to junior researchers on questionnaire design best practices.
Delegate tasks to and coach Researchers in questionnaire design, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
Prepare engaging presentations and reports, including strategic recommendations, with minimal support from Research Directors.
Confidently present findings to clients, demonstrating strong storytelling and communication skills.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE Experienced - with at least 3 years research experience working either agency or client side Highly organised & passionate about research and insights Have sound, technical research skills and a good understanding of different research methodologies Energetic people person – a real team player A curious problem solver with a strong service ethos A head for numbers and analysis with an eye for detail Excellent presentation & reporting skills Tertiary qualified: ideally in social sciences, psychology, statistics or marketing.

This role can be based in Wellington or in Auckland.
