This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge products and collaborate with the dynamic Chinese sales team to support the development and substantiation of health claims.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Research Assistant , you will be integral to supporting the Chinese sales team and driving research efforts for new product development and claim substantiation. Your role will focus on gathering and analysing scientific data, compiling research findings, and helping to shape high-impact ingredient claims for marketing. Key duties include:
Support the Consumer Innovation group by providing scientific, technical, and medical insights to substantiate ingredient claims.
Transfer scientific claims and ingredient understanding to Marketing teams via presentations and reports.
Monitor, identify, and analyse published research on the product and other relevant products.
Maintain a comprehensive database of all current and past research.
Provide technical, educational, and scientific information for both internal and external stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate:
This role is well-suited for someone with a research background and strong technical expertise. Key skills and attributes include:
Research experience with a post-graduate degree in biological sciences (or similar).
Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) is essential to effectively support the Chinese sales team.
Attention to detail and the ability to synthesise complex technical information into clear, actionable insights.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.
