Of the four levels of data analysts in the Self-Serve Analytics & Insights chapter, this is the advanced-level data analyst position where you will likely develop skills to transition up to the Senior Insights Specialist role, our top, expert-level, data analyst role. As someone who is passionate about data and analytics, you will work on a variety of projects that fundamentally support our Business Banking and Personal Banking departments. You will be a key influencer and contributor to analytics assessment, planning and delivery of these projects and to modernise our data and analytics pipelines.
As a naturally curious and proactive senior analytics professional you'll be able to bring:
5+ years advanced analytical skills, able to work with complex data to deliver meaningful, actionable insights.
3+ years experience developing complex pipelines in a SQL environment.
Working experience with Wherescape.
Proficient with reporting tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI.
Working experience with cloud tools (e.g. Prefect, dbt, Snowflake) a bonus but highly valued.
Excellent project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Problem-solving skills, comfortable working in complex, challenging environments.
Strong written and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to groups.
Outcome orientated, persistence to challenge the status quo and deliver customer results.
Team-player mentality and contribute to a supportive, caring culture within the team and beyond.
