Job Description:

Performance Food Group is seeking a passionate and confident Remote Chat Support Manager to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. As a Mid-to-Senior Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage a team of remote chat support agents, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and support.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve chat support efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Monitor chat support metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels.
5. Train and onboard new chat support agents, providing ongoing coaching and support.
6. Handle escalated customer inquiries and issues, resolving them in a timely and professional manner.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in chat support management.

Requirements:
1. 8+ years of experience in chat support management or a related field.
2. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Experience with chat support software and CRM systems.
6. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
