Kia ora - We are expanding our Customer Care Department and creating a new team of Credit Consultant- Collections in our Christchurch Office  This is a great opportunity to kick start your career in the banking industry or a quick refresher on your existing experience. Is this your next role?  We're looking for the newest additions to our tight knit Collections team! You'll have ownership of your own ledger and work with internal departments to deliver first class customer service to every single one of your customers.  In this role, you'll deal with working a variety of stages of credit control where customer experience, outcome and the reputation of our brand is incredibly important. Your day will include: Contacting customers with overdue accounts to make arrangements to repay arrears Loading and monitoring arrangements within the Heartland Bank's Collections systems Liaising with internal customers and external introducers to solve customer needs Answering incoming calls from the Collections queue, and calling customers. The role will be Monday - Friday working from our Hamilton or Christchurch office. Does this sound like you? You've got excellent working knowledge of credit and collection best practice and all related legislative requirements. You like to take ownership of your work and can work to tight deadlines and juggle competing priorities with ease. You've got a great sense of humour, you're a team player and have loads of initiative to drive results. You'll have: a passion for customer service some experience in Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Collections or experience in a bank or finance company a proven record of building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
