At BestStart, we are recruiting Reliever Teachers to join our Reliever Team.
Our Reliever Team plays an integral role in the operation of our centres nationwide.
As a Teacher for us, you will have the opportunity to work with our Tamariki and make a difference to their learning and development.
As a Reliever Teacher, you will be working alongside the permanent staff and be involved in the day-to-day activities of the class.
You will be looking for guidance on where you may be needed but also using your initiative to see opportunities to be helpful and a part of the team.
No day will be the same, as our BestStart Relievers can work across any of our centres, offering a variety of work daily.

The largest town at the end of the South Island, Invercargill and Southland are popular for many reasons.
The township itself offers a vibrant town centre with lots of new amenities, a tertiary education facility (SIT) and ample sports facilities.
Invercargill is a short distance from Bluff, the gateway to Stewart Island and also the Catlins - great for those passionate about the outdoors (hiking and camping).
BestStart has five centres located in the Invercargill township.
All very well established centres with experienced local leaders and other staff!

To be considered to work as a Teacher, you must have the below: NZ qualification in ECE or Primary (BEd/Grad Dip) Level 7 minimum NZ Registration – current (Provisional or Full) with NZ Teaching Council NZQA endorsement completed for overseas qualifications – must be endorsed at Level 7 or higher, and be endorsed to work at NZ ECE level.
Applicants MUST have eligibility to work in New Zealand.
