Reliability Engineer / Asset Management – Documentation ControlInvercargill – Asset Management DocumentationOur Invercargill-based client is one of the largest operators in the Southland region.
The company currently employs roughly 700 staff and during over 50 years of operation nearly 300 of them have worked there for over 20 years.
On top of that, over 150 have reached the 30-year milestone, so clearly, they are doing something right.With plenty of work underway, there is a need for an Asset Manager or Reliability Engineer to lead the direction on reliability engineering and asset management documentation and to provide asset management technical advice.In particular, you will:Lead and coordinate the review of Asset Management PlansLead and coordinate maintenance programme reviewsUtilise data to champion plant optimisation decisionsWork with the maintenance team to provide asset management technical adviceIdentify opportunities to improve asset management systems and develop and implement these decisionsThe Person:To be successful in this role you will have:A tertiary qualification (engineering or equivalent)Proven asset management experience, at least at an intermediate level, working with reliability systems (asset management plans, defect elimination processes, asset criticality, maintenance tactics etc.
