They now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Industrial pump fitter to join their busy, tight-knit and relaxed team.
The Role The job is a hands-on role, and the main focus of the role is to manufacture and service pumps. The Industrial Pump Fitter is responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of industrial pumps used in manufacturing or processing environments.
The responsibilities include:
Build and service industrial pumps and pump sets from components.Maintain accurate records of work, including pump build sheets, parts used, and work hours.Conduct pre-installation checks on components and pumps sets to ensure they are in correct working order.Test assembled pumps to verify functionality and adherence to performance specifications.Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure the safety of others in the work area.Report any potential safety hazards or operational inefficiencies.Ensure work is completed in a timely manner.Our Ideal Candidate Ability to work in a team environment.Good communication skills, verbal and written.Strong work ethic.Technical competency and a relevant trade qualification with a sound knowledge of mechanical and engineering practices.Health and safety comprehension.Strong problem solver, who enjoys fault finding.What's in it for you Opportunity to join a fun and supportive team.Beat the traffic and work close to home on the North Shore.Parking onsite.Stable and busy company.If you would like to learn more about this position, please contact Jo on 09 478 6200 or apply online today.
