We are looking for a Relationship Specialist to join our growing team.Apex Advice is an experienced and fast-growing financial advisory firm with a national footprint. We provide financial advice to individuals and small businesses with a focus on mortgages, investments, KiwiSaver, and insurance. Our head office is in Mt Eden Auckland, with regional offices in Tauranga, Hamilton, Hawkes Bay, Te Awamutu and Christchurch.Apex prides itself on having staff who are knowledgeable, experienced, and qualified to provide an expert service for clients. To ensure this high-quality service we place equal importance on character, with empathy, understanding, and a willingness to do right at our core.Overview of the role:The Relationship Specialist Team sits at the heart of the organisation and is responsible for integrating new clients into the business, helping support existing clients in policy renewals, and generating new opportunities for Advisers.Role Requirements:Conduct daily outbound calls to existing clients, plus follow up on referred leads where applicable.Liaise with financial advisers to arrange appointments and meetings with clients.Assess client opportunities for adviser referral and provide effective handover of opportunity.Update client records to reflect accurate current details in the database.All reporting requirements to be met on a timely basis as and when required.All entries into CRM and other computer systems are completed as required and the integrity of all systems is maintained.About you:We are looking for someone who is a warm and enthusiastic communicator, who understands what it takes to provide excellent customer service and has a desire to see people achieve their financial goals.In this role, you will be exposed to all aspects of Apex Advice, from service process, to partners, products, client base, and more. With the right attitude and on-the-job training, this role is a great platform for anyone looking to grow in the industry or work toward becoming a financial advisor.Person Requirements:Excellent written communication and phone-based skills.Knowledge of Salesforce platforms advantageous.Ability to work accurately and at speed.Excellent Microsoft Office capability.Experience in sales or the finance industry is beneficial.Benefits: In addition to your salary, you will have access to a fortnightly bonus system, payable on achieving set targets.A clean credit check and police check will be required.
