The role will allow you to work alongside a pre-eminent Principal, Nicola Tutt, who leads the Litigation team and comes from a highly decorated background including an extensive advocacy background in the District Court for both public sector and private practice organisations.This role will largely consist of Family Legal Aid including Care of Children, Family Violence, and Child Support work. You will have the opportunity to work closely with groups such as the Women's Refuge, as well as affording you the chance to spend plenty of time in court.In addition, the role will also entail a substantial amount of Relationship Property work as well.About YouThis role will suit a solicitor who has obtained or is close to obtaining legal aid lead provider status for Family Law. You will have excellent support and the opportunity to build your litigation experience.You will enjoy having autonomy and responsibility for your work, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to demonstrate the personality to work in a cohesive team and to build strong relationships with the community, your colleagues, and clients.In return you'll get the opportunity to work and live in a beautiful part of the country, with plenty of sporting and cultural activities on offer.
