Reporting to the Area Manager, you will manage a portfolio of Corporate Banking customers providing expert lending advice and financial solutions to meet their needs.
There are 3 critical pillars to this role: Managing and developing your portfolio, ensuring customers are valued through exceptional and seamless service Operational excellence, analysis and research Identifying and developing opportunities for new business and growth Our specialised Corporate Banking teams are focused on the following industry sectors: Hospitality, Tourism and Retail Trade Manufacturing and Wholesale Trade Property Finance Construction, Transport and Forestry Professional Services Health, Education, Local Government, Utilities and Infrastructure Na tau rourou | What will you bring?
This role will see you be accountable for managing and growing a portfolio of varied customers so strong relationship skills will be critical to your success.
Your engaging and professional nature will be what draws your networks to you, as well as being customer centric.
In addition, you will have: A strong understanding of the corporate business sector Prior exposure/market links into one or many of industry sectors Proven Business/Corporate lending experience Sound knowledge of product & pricing, compliance, and credit risk processes Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills combined with exceptional interpersonal, communication and networking skills A growth mindset and ambition to grow and develop your corporate banking career Highly developed business insight and acumen, effectively acting on and communicating your knowledge.
We know that building and driving key relationships as well as executing the deal requires a team of great people to support you, so this role will see you have the support from a team of Analysts and a wider team of Relationship Consultants.
